About Android Advice

Android Advice & Tutorials has covered Android since 2011: rooting and bootloader guides, custom ROMs, app and accessory reviews, and news.

The site is run by Brandon Orndorff. I have been interested in Android from the moment the first devices were released. I love the fact that it’s such a widely accepted mobile OS and that I can be a large part of the community as a whole.

About downloads

Many older tutorials originally linked to files hosted on this site (root tools, ROMs, APKs). Those downloads are no longer available here. Where an article mentions a file, it notes where the file or its original developer can be found.

Rooting and modding can void your warranty. Follow any guide at your own risk.
